About The Meer

The Meer creates a unique sound from elements of post-punk, alternative, dark folk, and straight forward minimalist rock. They strive to uphold strong DIY ethos and promote a supportive community for independent musicians. The Meer plays regularly across several states surrounding the DC metro area.
